Make an Impact

Social impact has never been higher on the property agenda. Yet the general public continues to think – sometimes with good reason – that property developers and investors are only interested in making money for themselves and not in being a force for good. It is high time this changed. That is why Property Week and Newcore Capital have joined forces to launch The Pro Bono Challenge.

What is it?

We have three key objectives:

  1. To establish what pro bono work companies are currently undertaking.

  2. To challenge companies to commit to at least one new pro bono project.

  3. To showcase best-in-class pro bono development in Property Week.

How do I get involved?

We are looking for examples of work undertaken outside your normal for-profit business. The categories by which your project will be assessed are listed below.

PLATINUM AWARD.png

Platinum

Where a company’s time, money and workforce have been deployed on a completely pro bono basis to deliver a property project.

GOLD AWARD.png

Gold

Where a company has deployed its time, money and workforce on a cost-only basis.

Silver.png

Silver

where a company has deployed its time, money and workforce to achieve a below-market / capped return.

BRONZE AWARD.png

Bronze

where a company has undertaken a project that has genuine social impact but that has delivered standard market returns.
